Claire-Erica loves to use different media. Carbon is a medium that came to the for after finding a carbon pencil while on holiday. Often art supply finds in remote places reward her with interesting new things to try.
Using a favourite Hahnemuhle paper to render, many hours are put to carefully executing the character into each portrait. Claire-Erica accepts commissions.
The humble stick of graphite is a fascinating medium with endless possibilities. It's just hours of play and exploration one can have with this old simple form of medium.

Experience with miniatures, her attention to detail only grew. Accepting a commission to do a large mural just heightened her enthusiasm for those finer details.
