Join in this term series exploring Graphite as a medium. Advance your understanding of modern tools and papers.
Our Graphite Drawing series takes you on the wonderful journey of skill development, knowledge and understanding the value of drawing.
Claire-Erica has developed a unique series of workshops to take you through the different aspects of drawing, covering the basics and moving at a comfortable pace to achieve the drawings you desire. You will gain a clear understanding, workshop practice, and take away activities, to support the skills needed for better Graphite drawing.
Drawing benefits the process of other mediums like painting and is high recommended before embarking on any of the Layering and painting courses available.

Classes never exceed eight attendees, this ensures personal and friendly atmosphere with attention to each student at the fore.
Tools to bring with you: Bring your existing pencils, eraser, a pad of smooth drawing paper, and a positive mind. Alternatively, we have a wide selection aligned to the class content that you can purchase on the day. It is great to bring some previous work but not essential.

Layering One, Two and Three are available!
If you are a beginner and are wanting to hone your skills and learn to up skill your drawing this is the course for you.
If you are wanting a little more advanced but would like to hone in on detail for more realistic paintings then Layering Two is for you.
Painting is a skill that enables creativity and self-expression to transcend the medium and build confident skills. This course series works with you at pace that is right for you.

Layering Series Two
Layering Two follows the first of the series. Being familiar with layering, drawing and the general technique set your sights higher for more advanced work.
Layering, an advanced way of creating realistic paintings, using a technique of colour glazing washes.
Painting is a skill that enables creativity and self-expression to transcend the medium and build self expression. this course is an extension of the first in the series.
